Monday: The clinician began the therapy session by giving CG opportunities to request for more bubbles. CG could verbally request for more bubbles with 50% accuracy. Also, the clinician would prompt CG to produce two word utterances such as big bubbles, blow bubbles, and pop bubbles. Additionally, the clinician utilized play dough to increase CG’s two to three word utterances and make requests regarding his wants and needs. CG production of two word utterances improved from 50% to 70%. CG’s ability to verbally identify colors improved from 15% accuracy to 40% accuracy. However, the clinician believes the improvement to be a discrepancy since the activity only utilized three colors. Initially, CG would verbally identify red, yellow, and green as orange. The clinician created a “monster” and images of cookies with CV and CVC word shapes pictures to increase his skills of verbally identify common pictures and objects. CG could verbally identify the pictures of CV and CVC word shapes with 60% accuracy. While listing to the “Old MacDonald had a farm,” CG identified the animals with 50%. CG would imitate the sound of a goat and sheep instead of verbally identifying the name of the animal. …show more content…
