What is bullying?
Bullying is unwanted and very aggressive behavior between young, school aged children between the age 13-19 that involves a real power imbalance. The behavior is most of the time repeated, or has the possibility to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied may have life-long negative psychological effects and who bully others may have serious and lasting problems.
Most of the bullying starts with spreading rumors, making threats and hurting someone physically. Today there are three main types of bullying.
Verbal bullying includes:
• Teasing
• Name-calling
• Inappropriate comments
• Taunting
• Threatening to cause harm
Social Bullying includes:
