What Is Betrayal?

Betrayal can happen to a group of people, not just one person. The Taliban, a Muslim militia, betrayed the Afghanis. The Taliban came in and took over the land of where the Afghanis were living while holding many shootings and massacres. Betrayal of the Afghanis occurred when the Taliban failed to hold accountable power over the people of Afghanistan. This let the Afghanis down by the people not being able to have any power over their country anymore and to leave the country unstable. The instability was not short lived, this concern is still going on today in Afghanistan. Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, used to be a beautiful home to Amir as he was growing up.
