Jake, who he thought was his friend turned out to be a huge back stabber. Jack told his “friends” that he would rather kill himself then look like him. the only reason that he hangs out with him is because the principal makes him. Jack really hurt August by leading him on. Sometimes the people we think are there for us are just as fake as my nails. Finally, is that people will make fun of him for the little things. Like he looks like Boba Fett for star wars Or it looks like he was in a fire. Furthermore, that he should get plastic surgery because he is so ugly. Kids act little there though, so they make fun of kids that can't defend themselves. I taught him that he shouldn't listen to what people say about him. August has had much experience in middle school he has laughed and cried. He has learned that people are fake when you think there your best friend. That you have to learn to trust people before letting them in. Lastly that people will make fun of the little things like being yourself or just looking a certain way. Middle school has taught him amazing
