There are many types of artifacts some may wonder what is an artifact per say. Artifact is an object produced or shaped by human craft, especially a tool, weapon, or ornament of archaeological or historical interest. The word artifact comes from the Latin arte (Givens). As stated previously, there are many different artifacts, it really all depends on the topic of the speech. When it comes to artifacts it could be something you physically bring, to some type of information you have found. An artifact can be any type of visual aid. For example, imagine a science teacher is teaching her class a lesson about bones and fossils. More than likely that teacher will have sometime type of artifact to show what they are trying to explain their lesson. Many people find themselves trusting someone who presents a speech well-groomed because the first impression tends to be the most important. No matter how much people want to deny it, the first things a speaker is judged on is what they look like, what they are wearing, and how much time it seems they put in to their preparation.
In some interactions, facial hair is acceptable, and even suitable for the occasion. Many of these instances include informal conversations, and not speaking presentations, which require a more-clean shaven look. Even trimming and grooming facial hair can present a professional look that will gain the speaker credibility with the audience. Taking care of facial hair is also important because having it well-kept may also help the presenter to feel more confident, not only in their looks, but in their ability to give a successful
