What is a Hero? A hero is someone who always does what's right, right?But what about when what's lawfully right and what's Morally right conflict? So than what would you chose divine compass or legal compass? Antigone made her choice of Moral compass causing a series of events making her the tragic hero.

Many people believe that Antigone is the tragic hero and there is some valid reasoning. The name of the play is Antigone and it's the story of how she disobeyed the king to follow divine laws and buried her dead brother Polyneices. She was sentenced to death and buried alive for her disobedience. She obviously could be viewed as a hero for her actions she did what she believed to be right.
