One example of this is a Pantene advertisement for their hair products. On it, Selena Gomez is pictured with shiny, voluminous hair. Most people know who she is, and she has countless adoring fans. When one of her fans sees that she is on an ad with a certain type of product, they immediately connect the product to being wonderful, and therefore, seek to go out and purchase it. Also, if they adore the way her hair appears and have longed to know what products she uses, the person will surely desire to use the hair products that she is showing off on the advertisement. In
