There are a lot of arts that people love, and almost all of the people look for specific artist
to see his\her works. I would like to write about a specific art that grab my attention to watch
which is “Mother and Son Peeling Potatoes” by Gordan Parks. I am writing this papers to
describe what I can see in this art, discuss the topic in this art and explain the history of it,
examine the use of the color in this art, and discuss what this work means to me and why I chose

He is an American soldier, and this art meant to be in America. All in all, this peace
of art can amuse many people because it has many things that people can see in it.
Second, this art was made to show the American history. This art was made after the
World War One, and in this war a lot of people died and got bad infection and some of them
survive. This war was between many countries and all of them lose many people and many
places. In addition, this art explains what the American people do in the thanksgiving holiday. In
conclusion, this art shows the historical of America.
Third, this work has a lot of colors that make people look at. First of all, Norman is
wearing a prawn military uniform which make the work series looking. Also, the mother is
wearing a white cover on her cloth to protect her cloth from any dirt. In addition, in the art there
is a big, orange pumpkin. Also, there is a red and white tablecloth. Moreover, the wall has a
green color that make this art more appealing to people to watch. Furthermore, behind the
mother and the son many fruit and vegetable which they have a lot of beautiful colors. All in all,
