Witman is discribing a place where people work hard and cataloging different kinds of people in america even though each of them sings there own songs the songs come together at the end which makes a strong America. This represents that even though each person has there own job, together this is what makes America the country of hardworking and Succesfull ,Beautifull country that he sees. He also goes on to close by saying “Singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.” This show alot of freedom and pride and this is a great way to express how proud witman was of the diversity and labor force of America and how they did their job while being happy to do it. Some ignored the ideas and thought that their was nothing wrong with America and downcasted the idea of minorites as equal and thought of them just as workers and slaves becuase thats how they came to America and were crushed by the greed of the astrocrates. That are they really happy being segergated and being slaves for work were they not the ones beside white people working for America, is this the idea of beauty that walt had for the labors of America?
