America’s Pastime You're in humid 98 degree weather you have been standing there for over an hour. That is just part of America's pastime baseball. Baseball was invented in the 1800 hundreds and since then has evolved on so many different levels. There also is a part of science that has to deal with this fun but simple sport, but we will get to that later. Baseball just isnt a sport it part of America's culture, and in my opinion the United States wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for baseball. That is just a fingertip of the exceeding information on this historic national sport.

For a while baseball has been dominated by pitching but now-a-days it is considered to be dominated by hitting.
Newton's second law applies to hitting a baseball, from example when a hitter hits the ball the generated speed of this pitch will be exerted after when it is hit. Most people think you can hit a ball farther when it is lobbed in, but they are actually incorrect. When the ball is coming fast it will be hit faster and farther out. This is proven by Newton’s third law every action has an equal opposite reaction. If you're ever up at the plate and you're trying to hit a homerun remember you have a better chance of hitting run when it is coming in
