“America’s Gift to My Generation.” Over the past years, America has come a long way from where it had started. Technology has evolved, the military has become stronger and much more, but there is one very apparent change in America, diversity, and acceptance. The diversity of race, religion, and acceptance of sexual orientation, lifestyle choices and how people identify. I truly believe that this is so important and that’s it is America’s gift to my generation.

When my grandparents were children there was segregation and racism and it was not okay to be different. There will always be people who believe that they are the superior race, people who believe it is wrong to love a certain gender, and people who are closed minded to other
