Alzheimer's ailment is the most widely recognized type of dementia and affects up to 70% of all people with dementia. It was first recorded in 1907 by Dr Alois Alzheimer. Dr Alzheimer revealed the instance of Auguste Deter, a middle-aged woman with dementia and particular changes in her mind.
