The first thing I experienced from a strangers perspective is the first day I landed in theUnited States airport. The strangest thing I saw when I got to the U.S was people smiling at me when they made eye contact with me even if they did not know me and I found this strange because where I am from it is not normal for people to smile at you when they do not know you. In my country people that smile at you are the people that only know you and it also symbolize that somebody likes you. The U.S is listed first in the obese nations, reason comes down to how it has managed to provide large quantities of food for a small price proving the theory of “Nacirema” to be true as the human body appearance is essential in the eyes of Americans. As a stranger coming to the U.S the odds that you will gain weight are high because of such franchises like McDonalds, Dominos etc. For examples if we look at restaurants, most of these provide nine dollar meals that in other countries around the world could be split into two meals. Coming into the United States this would be one thing that would be dominant, but focusing on the positive side, whether you want an inferior good or a normal good starving will not
