What Is Academic Integrity?

Academic Integrity is the values of avoiding cheating and plagiarism, it means that you are honest and and responsible in your academic studies. When you are given an assignment they are to help you learn, the grade that you earn shows you and your teacher how well you have learned the material. This is why it is important to be honest and complete your work on your own. A big goal should be using your sources clearly and ethically. The most common form of plagiarism is copying and pasting, this can be very easily recognized if it is in a different style or is worded differently than the students normal work.
