Abortion is a highly controversial topic, and many people would agree that it is permissible. Abortion, if done correctly by a professional, is a safe medical procedure. With that being said, access to legal abortions reduces maternal injury. Some people see abortion as a way out of having a baby. Making abortion illegal will increase teen pregnancy. Young teens would have to resort to illegal and unsafe abortion methods which could lead to lifetime problems. Some of these being homelessness, unemployment, and could cause the teens to be impoverished. Others see abortion as a civil right.
