What Is Abortion Morally Wrong

Pro-choice is when you advocate for legalized abortion. The opposite of that is when you vote for pro-life. Pro-life is when you oppose abortion and euthanasia.(Google) I am in the middle of pro choice and pro life. As stated above I believe this isn’t just a heartfelt decision, but also a decision you should be making with your brain. Many people will bring up, bringing an unwanted child into the world is a crime, and forcing a woman to have a child against her will is morally wrong. Motherhood should never be punishment for having sex. Forcing a child to be born to punish the mother is the ultimate in child abuse. Margaret Sanger said, "No woman can call herself free who does not own and control her own body." This concept is fundamental …show more content…
Other situations have a higher chance at risking not only the child, but the mother as well. According to Johnston’s Archive; the reasons some women decide to kill an innocent child is the due to an event of “rape, incest, unready or is too immature or too young to have a child, the woman's parents want her to have an abortion, has problems with relationship or doesn’t want to enter single parenthood, the husband or partner wants her to have an abortion, has all the children she wanted or all her kids are full grown, can’t afford a baby now, unmarried, is a student or planning to study, can’t afford baby and child care, can’t afford basic life needs, unemployed, or can’t leave work to take care of baby, would have to find new place to live, not enough support from husband/partner, husband/partner is unemployed, currently on welfare or public assistance, concerned about how having baby would change her life, would interfere with education plans or career plans, would interfere with care of other children, doesn’t want others to know that she’s had relations or that she is pregnant”.
