What is a worldview?
A worldview is how a person makes decisions in life. Each and every person has a worldview whether they realize is or not. It is the way in which we make judgements about situations in our lives and the world around us. “A worldview is the framework of beliefs by which a person views the world around him” (Hindson 498). 60 words

1. The Question of Origin The word “genesis” itself means “origin” (Mears 33). In Genesis 1, God created us. He created everything. From the very beginning we are told that we came from God’s hand. Colossians 1:16 also confirms this statement that God created all things, in Heaven and on Earth. We are told that God was, He was not created, but the Creator of all things (Sproul 17).

When interacting with those around us, we must be like Christ. Ephesians 4:32 instructs us to treat others the way Christ would treat them. God created us in His image. This means He also intended us to respect each other as we would treat Christ himself. We are to speak kindly to one another with love and forgiveness. Luke 6:31 also tells us to treat people the way we would like to be treated. No one wants to be treated poorly, like dirt on the ground. Instead, we must treat others like royalty because that is how we would want to be treated.

As we have learned by reading Genesis 1, Christ created everything. This includes the land, sea, and animals. When walking through a museum, we do not disrespect the works of art by destroying their beauty. God’s creation is also a work of art. A masterpiece that should be respected. God may have made us unique and in His image, but every single one of His creations is important. All of God’s creation should be shown the same kind of love that we show one
