A story of love faith and fighting what 's right in the name of God. The mission is almost like the mission God gives us as christians to spread the gospel and glorify him and help others get to know and be a part of the kingdom of God and sometimes we have to go against the world to do what God has called us to do no matter what anyone in this world says we are created to live in the world but not to be of it. The Bible says " If the world hates you remember it hated me first ". God also said to not fear for he is with us in Joshua 1:9 he says "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

The contemporary Christian I consider having the same perspective as Rodrigo is the only way to make them back down and to fight for the faith is with violence to make them see they will not be taken for granted. Whereas , father Gabriel feels the best way to accomplish God 's purpose is to take a step back and not get in the way of the order allowing peace between the priests and the order. Allowing the missions in other places to continue even though he believes and know in his heart it 's not the right thing. The contemporary Christian group I consider having the same perspective as father Gabriel iS the church. The church fights with peace not war. However, father Altamirano felt the best way to accomplish God’s purpose was to push the Jesuit people out from the mission and force them back into the forest and they didn 't deserve to know God. That is was God 's will that they be cast out and forsaken. The contemporary Christian group I consider having the same perspective as the father is the concerned christians. Who like the Spanish, thrive to force people out of their rightful place.
The underlying theme between each perspective of the goals of the kingdom of God vs the kingdom of the world is simple. The kingdom of God strives to make sure each
