In these different settings you will find that a social worker’s job will vary. Some will provide direct support and counseling to those in need, emotionally stressed or that find themselves in difficult situations. Other social workers will clinically diagnose emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Not only do they provide direct services, but will also provide referrals to seek available resources.
