The second part of my experiment made me realize that in both of my experiment the people have similar reactions on why they didn’t tell me that my phone was ringing up, and I wonder if that one male wasn’t there what would have happened. By me going in and having my phone turned on full volume, when we know that in situations like this you either have to put your phone on silent, turned off, or on vibrate, I broke up this social norm. I wonder myself since when it has become a social norm to not let a person know that their phone was ringing even if they were apparently unaware. An explanation to this is that some people just didn’t care, while some thought I couldn’t hear it ringing up, whereas others thought I was just ignoring the calls
