What is a relational database?
It is a database that stores the information about both data, for example for a person detail that is link with their car details that they have bought it from the company. The data and relationships are showed in an entity which is in a flat, two dimensional tables. We would use a relational database in a company such as a car company so when they want to store their customers information and what car did they buy, they use a relational database which stores the customer information such as their name, age, gender, email and their phone number so that if that customer comes back to buy another car then they can just update she/his entity. The main purpose of a relational database is that it will allow you to store data organized in an entity. The relational database is for you to store information so in one database table you can store the customer’s information and in the other one you can store their order details. The tables are created separately and then they are link. It can store data in one file.
