Growing up in life we are all taught how to think, talk, act, and listen. Our parents shape us and mold us into who they want us to be, but whom and what we want to be is determined by our own direction. We live our life making choices and turning different directions in life. Sometimes we hit road blocks and distractions other times we cruse by full of excitement and thrills nonetheless it takes a thought process to get there. Through the journey of my life I’ve learned how to cope with my intrapersonal traits good and bad. Although not always on the positive side I’ve had to take responsibility for whatever actions I’ve taken. I truly believe we are all our own captains stirring our ship influenced by life and others. I’ve always understood the importance of staying positive to promote success and I truly believe in “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction” (De Janasz, Dowd, & Schneider, 2006, p. 378). Throughout my life I’ve always been that guy to spark the team get the motivation going. At work I’ve noticed when doing the right thing people follow your lead, it’s my ethical actions that rub off others to set the mood of good hard work. When coworkers complain I like to step in and say something positive to change the negative outlook because, “the results suggest that ethics codes may lead to higher levels of organizational commitment by increasing the belief that their organizations have strong ethical values, as long as the existence of ethics codes are adequately communicated” (Valentin, Barnett …show more content…
Well I’ve learned that people are actually considered to be identified by these certain types of characteristic traits. This has given me a clear understanding of who I am and why I act the way I do. Out of these traits I’ll define a few of them in detail.
Practical, realistic, matter-of-fact. I display a practical personality nothing fancy just what you see is what you get. I don’t tend to please others or worry about their opinion I appreciate constructive criticism, but don’t stress on image. I believe in staying realistic as to what I do, you will never see me window shopping unless I have the means to purchase that item. Straight forward is my way of life and how I visualize things.
