A historical moment I am extremely curious about is the Holocaust and its lasting social and political effects. It amazes me how Holocaust survivors can recover from such events and still have a regular life afterwards. Furthermore, that event in history has changed society in countless ways, and it caused lasting effects on Europe and in the Middle East, even to this day. UW-Madison would help me explore these changes thoroughly through its extensive libraries and databases. The libraries have wide ranging collections and services where I can find the resources and information I need to learn more about almost anything.
