What Is A High School Experience Essay

High school is basically a large building filled with students ranging from the ages of 13-18, where we are provided an education that 's supposed to prepare us for college. High school is run by a friendly staff that are willing to do everything they can to give you the best high school experience. Through this experience, you 're surrounded by students that has a thirst for knowledge and who are great motivators. For some people, this is true, but in reality high school is a complete nightmare. The school itself is badly damaged, administrators are worthless, and the stress of growing up and fitting into several social groups.

Most of it is not spent learning but includes trying to find friends who aren’t trying to hook up with people, buying clothes in the hopes of someone will notice you, getting bullied while either riding the bus or walking the halls, desperately trying to get rid of the pimples on your face, learning how to drive a car, grades meeting parents standards, finding the right attire and prom date, also graduating on time, and to top it off, you must act like nothing 's going wrong in you life. I 've encountered this plenty but learned how to separate what 's really important and what is not. Finding the balance between my personal and social life got the best of me. I would portray to people that everything 's all peachy and cream, but when at home I would tear myself down and demanded myself to be more open to people.
In conclusion, high school we are under pressure because we are alone and under pressure to pretend that our lives are perfect. Trying to be yourself around a lot of students is confusing because we all don 't want to be label as one of those. We pretend to be like everyone else to fit in while having to manage the horrible faculties. Teachers will force students to do a hefty amount of work and expect us to do it all. Principals don 't care anything about the students and their staff and janitors are just as lazy as it
