What Influenced You To Take Your Career Path

What influenced you to take your career path? For me I decided I wanted to go into nursing when I was able to watch my brothers face light up, knowing he was in pain but seeing his nurses would change his whole attitude. My brother was born with Spina Bifida. Insurance doesn't cover everything a reason why my family is in debt. Hospital visits can be extremely expensive, but knowing he is getting healthier and noticing how his day changes with a joke of a nurse can change your whole perspective.

A nurse's job is one on one with patients. It is particularly important that a nurse has an upbeat and joyful attitude, something I strive for everyday. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. I took a test my 9th grade year, this test asked you a series of questions and at the end it told you what fields might fit you best. Nursing was my top field. So I actively started looking for opportunities for me to learn more. Taking anatomy and physiology, into to medicine, and the class that helped me the most was

It is a private Christian school so this does push the price up for school. One of my goals in life is to be a missionary nurse. To achieve this goal I need to be attending a Christian college. Oklahoma has a fair amount of family that I have never met or have been close too. Going to OC has opened that door for me and it has also opened the door of flying home to visit my family in Washington. This just adds onto the amount of money I will be spending yearly for school. An average year at OC is about $28000. And then adding on top, flying home and fundraising for mission trips. That is a whole lot of money. My parents don't plan on paying for my school so it is up to me to acquire the money to do so.
