“If you 're going through hell, keep going”(Winston Churchill). Winston Churchill might have said this, but my parents were the ones that taught me to never give up. The indescribable sacrifices my parents have done for me is what makes me seek for greatness. I share my dreams with my parents and by achieving them I will be able to pay them back. One of the foundations required to achieve my goals is to attend the most prestigious MBA program, the Wharton MBA program. With the skillset obtained at the program along with my passion to achieve greatness, nothing will stop me. The experiences I have been through have shaped the person I am today. I have felt first hand what being in a difficult economic situation is like after my dad’s construction company went broke, and I have come to realize the huge impact that education has on those less fortunate.

They have taught me to be someone people will look up to, and Wharton represents an invaluable opportunity in which I would be able to prepare myself adequately, in order to accomplish all that I have ever dreamed of. It would not only allow me to become an exemplary businessperson with the ethics El Salvador so desperately needs, but to later pursue a career in politics and help those, that one day I realized, are really struggling. I am willing to not only become the person “people look up to” but I will work restlessly until becoming a person that the whole world will look up to, because a dream is just a dream until you decide that it is time to make these happen. As children, our parents shape our ideas and opinions. When I was a child I thought Texas A&M was the only university my parents would let me attend based on the way they talked about it. I thought that they would not help pay for my college if I went anywhere else. It was not until I was in high school that I realized that Texas A&M was the only university I wanted to attend. I would like to study at Texas A&M to continue my family tradition, for the opportunities it offers after graduation and to be admitted to the dental school with a great education behind me.…

I decided to attend Florida A&M University (FAMU) for a variety of reasons, including the location of its campus, because I was offered a full scholarship, and of course, because of the pharmacy program. Moreover, I believe that I am the ideal candidate for being a part of FAMU’s pharmacy program. To begin, FAMU is located in Tallahassee, Florida, a city that I had wanted to attend college in since I was in elementary school. Tallahassee is a city of containing and surrounded by many events and opportunities, so no matter your preferred “scene,” you are likely to be able to find something you do. Another upside to FAMU’s location is that it also places me very close to my mother and the rest of my maternal family, who I had previously not gotten to see almost since elementary school.…

I was born and raised in Michigan. I grew up in an area known as Downriver, where I still reside today. My high school and the barn where I work/volunteer are both within 3 miles of my home, which is why moving to Michigan State University in East Lansing to join the other 50,000 undergraduate students was such a substantial change. I’ve always been adaptable and driven to succeed, so the adjustment to life in East Lansing was not a difficult one for me. Since I’ve been enrolled as a student at Michigan State University, I was granted the extraordinary opportunity to work at the Michigan State University Horse Teaching & Research Center while also being involved in both the Stock Seat Equestrian Team and the Horse Judging Team where I’ve been extremely successful.…
