That didn’t go well with him and he pushed me down the hill and I fell down the hill and all my food came out of my lunch bag. I felt extremely humiliated because it seems like all the school saw it. I was laughed at and so I went in the school to hide. I didn’t cry but I was roughed up. I never seem to let anything out. I took it and then at home I was express my anger and frustrations. I was taken there and dropped off on the second floor. I was put into a room with padding on the walls and a tile floor for 48 hours. All that was in this room was a bed and a wood bedframe. I was given a sheet and a pillow and that was all. It was so cold in that room that I got little to no sleep. I was awoken at around 0730 and was told to get up for breakfast. I went to the community room and you could tell I was the new guy. Other people were there also for different problems. I started talking to people and quickly bonded with the other people there because we were all we had. We stayed strong together. The reason of why you were there was like your badge of honor. We had school, play time, counselling, and free time. One by one I created friendships with these people and it seem quite clear that to all of us our parents were all of our mortal enemies. We stuck together so well that when it was time for a child/parent group with all of our parents and all of us kids together that we really voiced our opinions. I stayed quiet and observed everything that was happening. It got very verbally aggressive in this session that it had to be cancelled. From my personal experience, when I was in elementary school I remember my teacher would let us sit on yoga ball it always helped me concentrate and it helped me when I was really active because I could not move around, it will make me fall if I move around. I like the idea of standing desks because I prefer standing a lot but when I need to I could sit down on the tool, but I could still move my legs around and be somewhat active. After reading Jeannette Walls’ Glass Castle, I realize that she and I have a lot in common. From her parents arguing to her being bullied at school to her father dying, she went through a lot of situations that resemble some of the less known and serious problems that I had while I was about the same age. Jeannette had a tough life while growing up. However, even though I had similar issues, I lived and still live a relatively sheltered life. I, like her, simply viewed everything that happened as normal and didn’t realize that it was abnormal until I got into fifth or sixth grade.…

“Don’t worry Erik, we’ll always have each other,” I would tell my brother as we ate lunch by ourselves under the playscape of the elementary school playground. Growing up as the only two Hispanic children in the small town of Arco, Idaho, I found out very quickly that other children could be the cruelest and most judgmental individuals when it came to the subject of race. C1. In this case, though no particular motives are given for the anonymous students to be bullying Larry, there are a few possible reasons why they could be doing so. The students perhaps have a grudge against Larry or dislike him and want to insult him for whatever reason by leaving his email and posting false statements and even cartoons about him (though I think insulting someone with the name of a group of people who have a different sexual orientation isn't very clever). Now as for forwarding the email with the link to the site to other friends, perhaps I wanted to hear their opinions on the site and (hopefully not, as it would make me a terrible person) try to get my friends in trouble (on second thought, no real friend would do that!).…
