Attitude: I have always enjoyed writing. I love how writing allows me to express and challenge myself through words. After reading both chapters 1 and 2 and completing the self-check exercises I feel very confident in my abilities as a writer to succeed in this course. This course has allowed me to refine my writing skills, polish my grammatical errors and learn how to properly organize my thoughts and ideas on paper. I feel that by taking a composition course such as this one it gives me a better chance at accomplishing the course objectives by giving me a firm grasp on basic writing skills.

From taking the Learning Inventory quiz I have learned that I am a Social, Creative, Verbal, Emotional and an Abstract learner. I have learned that I am a people oriented and prefer to learn with others as well as very imaginative in my approach to new tasks. I prefer to rely more on written and spoken information to aid in my learning development rather than spatial information such as getting my knowledge from pictures or diagrams. …show more content…
I learned a lot about myself by completing the learning style quiz. I found that my results were spot on but also found areas in which I could improve. Being an emotional learner tends to cause me to hold back from stepping up to my true potential as a writer by worrying about what others may think. I would like to improve on my confidence as a writer as well as work on better organization skills to help with the flow of the writing process, I tend to find myself getting tripped up or stuck on where to go from one topic to the
