Dear, Professor Hampton I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my math course, I’ve never been very good at math, I’ve actually always struggled with it tremendously. I failed my previous test and it brought my overall grade down. I think I know the underlying problem besides not knowing my multiplication facts but, at times, in the classroom i find my mind wondering off and I have to literally talk to myself and channel out the distractions. My first question, what are some other methods I can use to channel out the outside distractions because it’s beginning to do harm to my school work. This course has been a very interesting experience. I really enjoyed the tools presented to improve writing. From the choice of topic, to establish the thesis, to make an outline and to develop an essay, you can have an implementation of a protocol, as an experiment. I had never thought of writing that way and that I will certainly use this to my whole life. Another interesting aspect provided by distance learning is that it is necessary to develop the study routine.…

In Freshman Composition I have learned a few things thus far but plan to learn many more things about this class and also about myself. I have learned that MLA formatting is still a rule and this class will not allow procrastination. From what I have learned so far I expect this class to be easy as long as I stay focused on the task. Although I am great at procrastination I have set a goal in my educational career to get the assignments done prior to the night before. This goal will help me succeed greatly in this class throughout the semester.…

I could only watch as the earth was approaching closer and closer to me.…
