When a very first time to take a prof. Geiling’s class, psychology was a totally unfamiliar lecture to me, even more, I never heard several academic words from that class, so it made me hard to get into the class well. First year seminar class has four sessions for one semester and each session was taught by different professor and that was a unique experience. In my opinion, this method has some advantages and disadvantages. Regarding advantages, it increases a chance to get more knowledge from different types of lectures and gives an opportunity to experience how other classes going to work. Reversely, in terms of disadvantages, it makes difficult to follow a curriculum because if I were absent even one class, it would be hard to understand what should I prepare for next class. Also, this method gives limited chance to get closer to each professor. Personally, I also felt difficult to make a relationship with each session 's professor. Briefly, I think Concordia college can maintain this way for a first year seminar class, but before it, I hope they may improve some system to make intimated relationship between students and
