In this class I have learned so many important things. History is something that will live on forever, and this course has done a fantastic job of explaining things and showing me the background of our country. One of the most important things I have learned during this course, is the history of the Vietnam War. I never really thought about the Vietnam War before. I briefly studied it in a high school course, and knew the basis of the events, but I never thought about it deeply. It seems like that war should have happened centuries ago, but in reality it happened around 50 years ago. That to me is so crazy to think about. There are people who are still alive that fought in that war, I just never stopped to think about it until we talked about
