What I Learned About The Apa Style Guide That Can Be Completely Honest

To be completely honest, I was not excited about this class whatsoever. I have never enjoyed English, I always found it to be the most boring subject. Since I did not enjoy English I never really felt like I truly learned anything, however, after taking this class I have learned a lot. I learned how to actually write a paper using the APA style guide that is used in my field of study. I have learned what kind of information is important to include in the paper that I write and what could be left out. With every paper that I wrote for English 300 over the past few weeks, I learned a little more about writing that I could incorporate into the next assignment. Although I am very excited to be done with the semester, I am very happy that I took this class (even though I did not have a choice).
I learned a little bit about Ethos, Logos, and Pathos in my English 100 class my freshman year, but this semester I learned how to actually incorporate those concepts into my writing. One example of Ethos that I used within my paper is when I explained that Maggie Leppert is a writer for Lifeprint which in turn showed that she was credible and has written more than one article. I also explained how Luckner and Muir were credible by saying that they are professors in the Special Education department at the University of Northern Colorado, therefore, their studies are legitimate.
