What I Do You Eat? Essay
Now when I go home, I usually just cook really simple things for myself because I am too lazy to spend too much time on cooking just for me. I will just make some tofu or something simple, but definitely between growing up and now, I eat much healthier.
Hannah: Any big changes for any of you, in terms of culture, or big dietary patterns, that have changed?
Georgie: I went vegan when I was 17 years old and that was big.
Marilynda: I just don’t eat food from my culture anymore because I am Mexican. I don’t know, I take that back, my family is very adventurous with food and they just love eating everything. We would have a lot of Mexican dishes and home cooked meals and I feel like it is not healthy at all. It is definitely different.
Hannah: So, you are not eating Mexican food as much anymore, like seeking it out.
Marilynda: No, I guess Barbacoa at Chipotle is as good as it gets and that is not cutting it at all.
