One year there was one person in particular that our worlds didn’t collide very well together. I won’t use the other person name for this story I’ll call him Chris (The Bully). Chris was a student at LCA since kindergarten however we didn’t meet until third grade but the bullying started in junior high. We would fight a lot and sometime we would be angry at each other for a while. The attacks against me were starting to get physical but I barely fought back. I still didn’t realize I was being bullied at this time but when he started picking out how I act I started to understand that I was being bullied. Namely he said I wasn’t black or that I didn’t act it. He said I only fell under the bare minimum of the stereotypes like eating chicken and liking Kool-Aid but didn’t act tough or rap or at least the listen to hip-hop. However it was when I understood that he was there not to lift me up but only to cut me down I had protect myself so I fought back from what he said and when that fight was resolved I went to my parent about what had happened. So when we had to be close to each other I would respect him and talked to him when necessary because that is what I have always been told by my parents and teachers and I stand behind that. The bully was finally removed from the school but not because something between us, he did something that violated the school ethics was remove from
