In my high school, the classes where split into regular, honors, and AP. Having taken all three types of classes, I started to notice the similarities and differences between each level of curriculum. My teachers would sometimes give us “busy work”, so they could grade papers or get a break from teaching. I can remember on many occasions where I would go to my statistics class and we would just sit and talk just waiting for the next bell to ring. Having classes like this can hinder my chances of success in a class. On the other hand, there were times when I would walk out of class and not remember anything my teacher just taught me. I have a perfect example from a teacher I had my junior year who taught Algebra two. He would teach his lessons via videos and would not elaborate on exactly what we were supposed to do. In college; however, I am finding myself able to learn more at a faster pace. I have realized in my Environmental Science class especially that it is easier to maintain focus at the pace we are
