When someone says the word apple, what comes to mind? An apple from a tree, or the brand that has made some of the most influential moves in the world of technology? In most cases, whether to admit or not, most individuals will think of “Apple”, the company with the white portfolio of an apple that has been bitten. What has made Apple such a successful brand? The answer is simple, they have some pretty good marketing strategies, along with some of the most innovative technology. Although the Samsung Galaxy may be water proof, shock proof, dirt proof etc., then why do so many consumers chose the simple iPhone over something that could be a better fit for their wrong habits of dropping their phone in the water? Apple products come with a price. Consumers looking for Mac laptops or desktops know that the price will set them back at least $1,000 up to $3,000. How can Apple do this? The answer is easy, Apple thinks of itself as a separate from the world of PC’s. Macs and PCs both essentially the same thing, but just run a little different. Apple has seemed to stick to the same products and similar advertising styles over the years which could possibly hurt the company in the coming years. Apple is beginning to slack in what they offer in their products, as well as with their high prices. The company needs to create new products to adapt to the changing market by creating new products and technology that focuses on the target market to attract new consumers. Following through with a plan to add new and different products could possibly help the sales of Apple being that the iPhone makes up over 50% of their sales, Apple must start being creative by getting ahead of the
