What happened to the high school who cared? In 8th grade some rumors may have floated around about high school. I am here to share the truth about high school. Teachers are very supportive, and they are here to help push everyone towards success. The homework in high school is only a little more than in middle school. There are a few actions 8th graders should take when they come to high school in order to have a positive experience. To begin with, getting involved is one of the best things a student could do in high school. Being involved could just mean supporting the school by attending school sport's events. School sport's games are a great way to make new friends, and amazing memories. Clubs and other activities are marvelous …show more content…
Putting full effort in everything will really show in a positive way. I know that putting full effort in all the time can be tiring, but push through it and it will be beneficial. Full effort is not only expected in school work, but in sports, too. I am in softball and dance, and I put my full effort into both of those activities along with my school work. Full effort is greatly valued in high school. Finally, being prepared is one of the most important things about high school. Most students coming from the middle school are still stuck with their "middle school" habits. For starters always have a pencil and plenty of notebook paper. Being prepared could also mean being emotionally and mentally for the day. When entering a class being prepared for the class feels a lot better than getting there and not having a clue as to what is going on. Teachers and classmates appreciate when everyone is prepared. In essence, following my guidelines will help all 8th graders to have a positive high school experience. 8th graders need to know that getting involved is good. Putting full effort in will help the new freshmen greatly in high school. Being prepared is the most important item to remember. Let us bring back the high school students who
