What Happened To Curley's Wife

George begins to tell Lennie, "We're gonna get a little place,” while Lennie was looking at the river, he started to imagine the time when they will have their own farm. George takes Carlson’s gun out of his pocket and starts pointing at Lennie's head while telling him about their dream. But, Candy, Carlson, Slim and Curley appeared while George was talking to Lennie.
When they all saw what was happening, everyone started to yell. Candy started to yell, “Stop!”
Carlson started to yell, “Kill him!” But, while all of that was happening, Curley was furious and mad, and at the same time, Slim was puzzled. Lennie turned around and was confused about what was happening, he just stared at everyone.
“What’s going on?” he questioned a moment later.

Why were you talking to her? I told you not to talk to her.”
Lennie answered, “She went up to me and started talking and she let me touch her hair.”
Curley said angrily, “Why were you touching my wife? She is married to me.”
Lennie answered, “Her hair was soft.”
Curley got mad and started to beat up Lennie. Lennie didn’t know what was happening and became upset. But, when Curley punches him, Lennie got furious and punch Curley. Curley landed on the floor all bloody. Slim and Candy immediately took Curley and took him to the barn.
Lennie noticed that everyone was mad at him. At the same time, he noticed that something bad was going to happen, so he decided to run away. But, Carlson noticed that Lennie was running away, so he took his gun from George’s pocket and shoot Lennie in the head.
At first, Lennie didn’t feel the bullet, so he continues running. Carlson keeps shooting but he missed a couple of times until Lennie turn around and said, “You are never going to catch
