What Happened To Chris In The Novel Shift

Imagine riding bikes with your friend when he suddenly disappears for a year. That is what happened to Chris in the novel shift. Two lifelong friends Chris and Win go on a bike ride after graduation. Win disappeared during their journey and was not seen again until college starts. The Puritans would absolutely adore the novel Shift due to its strong family values, men taking charge, and it's plain writings. The Puritans would appreciate the novel because of the strong family values. In this story are two best friends named Chris and Win. They are lifelong friends. Chris and Win are practically brothers. Chris is truly a kind hearted person. Chris would do anything for anybody. He told his parents everything. They were always there to help him succeed. He was always polite to his mother. Whether it were in person or over the phone because he knows the true meaning of family. When most kids are out doing bad things Chris and Win were on a bike trip. Whenever Win went missing Chris was devastated. He eventually started to accept it but we while reading the novel still knew he wasn't yet over it. This novel is being lived through the eyes of Christopher Collins. Shift is a first person story. It tells the fascinating day to day life. Its like we are on the journey right along Chris and Win. As these two teenage boys are zooming down the road I can almost feel the wind blowing back at me. I can see everything they encounter. I can feel the conflict after Wins disappearance.
