Being a single dad Dean forgot to pack snack for the flight and opted into buying one from the airline. Janice’s boyfriend stole his credit card and spent a great deal of money before Dean could notice. The credit card company told Dean he had to pay for what was bought on his card. Dean found himself in debt. His daughter that he went to go visit was drying of rare cancer. The insurance wouldn’t cover the medicine to treat her because it was new and still being tested, but it would save her life. The bank wouldn’t lend him money for his daughter’s treatment because he still had a lot of debt from when his credit card was stolen, thus he couldn’t pay the experimental treatment that would save her life, so his daughter died. This caused Dean used his police connections in Chicago and found out who had stolen his credit card, but he couldn’t do anything to them in prison, so he found Janice. Using his police connections Dean found that Janice was flying to LA and he wanted to see the women who killed his daughter. Dean convinced the airline that someone from his investigation in the bomb squad department may have purchased a ticket on the flight, thus Dean got the flight manifest and purchased the seat next to …show more content…
He tired to approach and talk to her but she ignored him since she was talking on the phone, his narcissistic personality kicked in and he was angered since she didn’t notice him or think he was worth talking to even though he thought very highly of himself. The Chicago airport had a rat problem so seeing the rat poison in his rage he took some and put it in his pocket, planning to kill Janice. The airport janitors found that Strychnine, a rat poison, wasn’t working as well as they wanted so they also put curare in the rattraps too in hopes that it would kill more rats. Dean unknowingly took both Curare and Strychnine and brought it on the plane to kill Janice. All of those events lead to how Janice
