What Freedom Means To Me Essay

In my personal opinion freedom means that a person that is capable of act, speak, and think differently from the rest of the people in the world. The meaning of law for me is the system of rules that our country has for regulating the actions of its habitants enforce by penalties if rules are not respected. One personal perspective I have about freedom is that the people can express their self in anyway they want but always been very respectful to not harm any other person. In my own aspect the law is to be abbey at all times because it’s one of our jobs as citizens of a country.
A recent experience I have had with freedom is the protest people have been doing against the president by the Hispanic community about the dream act. The Hispanics are protesting because they have the freedom to speak and to think differently from the rest of the people living in the USA. The persons have the right to express their feelings and to act the way they please but always within the laws permitted. The law can always be followed by each person as long it does not take our freedoms and our rights. Every time someone tries to control the people’s right to choose about the religion or the thing they believe in is consider against the law and that person could end incarcerated. At the end freedom and law are two different things that are used as one by our government to maintain our safety and the peace in our country. We the people should try to see the good side of the laws we have and the freedom use it to maintain a good society for a better place to leave for our kids to live on.
