I have experienced failure in myself as a athlete too many times. I fell into a bad depression when I got hurt my varsity Sophmore year, and junior year. My second injury was the worst I lost all hope in football. I also had no idea what I would do with my time. I had devoted so much of my high school career to football, I was lost as a person. I felt as if I had no identity. Although, I was unable to play with my team I came to every game and practice and supported my team, this shows a lot about my character. I could remember people telling me I will not be able to play again, I had people tell me football “might not be for you”, I never let the negativity sway my passion for the game. Through my experiences, football has taught me that it is more than a game. Football is a teacher, I have learned to be determined, never quit and try my hardest in every aspect in life. I have my last season to show colleges I am able to play at the next level. Through failure you are given the opportunity to learn from that experience or not. I am a person who learns from my failures and mistakes. I believe that every action can have a positive reaction. I will show colleges that I will be a great student athlete for their campus because I will be a good role model. I would not take it for advantage if I was given the opportunity to play football in
