My topic is the Pineapple Enzyme Experiment. My problem statement is “what effect will the Pineapple enzyme have on the gelatin?” The independent variable is the type of pineapple. My dependent variable is the state of the gelatin after the experiment. My controlled variable is My current Hypothesis is if I use the fresh pineapple on the gelatin then the gelatin will liquefy and not settle, and the canned pineapple will not have the same effect on the 2nd cup of gelatin. In the experiment I will have 3 bowls of gelatin already made. I will have 2 to use during the experiment and 1 as a control variable. I will have two kinds of pineapples, canned and fresh. I will then add the fresh pineapples to one bowl of gelatin, the canned
