The Secretary of State deals with unexpected crisis and is the face of our relationships abroad. Nieman also talked about how this election cycle left more uncertainty in relationships than others. Schmidt spoke more to Trump’s business background. “Maybe Trump can make some good business deals that will appeal to leaders of some of our allies,” he said.
