To begin with, there are many different species of animals that impact their environment greatly. For example, a lion has helped control the populations of its environment and continues to do so. Elephants, giraffes, antelope, and zebras all have a relationship with the lion. This form of symbiosis is predation or a predator prey relationship. The lion helps control the populations of these overpopulated species and help maintain a balance. Lions not only help control populations, but they help get rid of diseases. They pick out the weaker or the runt of a group of its prey.
