A successful person is someone who is above average and out of the ordinary, they will take on obstacles and concur achievement through easy and struggling times they always reach their goals. “What Drives Success?” is an article by Amy Chua and Jed Rubenfeld which talks about how there is actually a secret to success; the secret is that there are 3 traits that can be taught making the people change the way they see education. stress can be a problem for everyone, it can make people angry, sad, or even want to give up. Lucky enough here at Cerritos college, we have the opportunity to have many activities, programs, and events to help us get out mind distracted for a while and be able to be in a college without having to deal with stress and do the contrary and take out some stress. School stress can definitely ruin our happiness which is also the cause of student not fully focusing on getting a good education, but Cerrito's college student services have a lot of helpful activities and events to help us get out mind back into our degree …show more content…
Many kids may have the problem of being bullied because of race, ethnicity, and believes, but there is councilors, deans, and teachers that are there to help even the students are identified as gay, lesbian, bi, or etc. these authorities are trained to help, talk, and guide them or point them to the right decision and if they can’t help they will point the student to a resource or person that can help them. If these students are happy with the way they are then there shouldn’t be a problem bugging them, especially when it's disrupting the happiness that lets them focus on their education which causes success. Being happy is very important to become a successful college student. We need happiness in order to get these problems away from our education. The resources offered at Cerritos college helps the students maintain their happiness by solving their problems and now they can focus in class.
