What drives people to undertake a mission is the, determination. The recent events that happen will determine if a person will undertake a mission.
For example, Farah Ahmedi had been determined to go on this mission to get out of Pakistan because of a man named Ghulam Ali. Before they had met him, she hadn't been so determined to get out. They went up to the gate, saw it was closed by guards, and almost gave completely up. But then when they met Ghulam who had sided with them, they had been determined.
Another example is The Hobbit, when Gandalf and them first got to Bilbo's house, Bilbo had no idea what was happening, or at all what was going on. But then Bilbo hears Gloin in the other room, and he makes nasty comments about how Bilbo was not the right man for the job. After he heard this, Bilbo stormed in and very firmly told Gloin that although he might not seem like the right guy for the job, he definitely was, and he would with the angry determination he had. …show more content…

Of course, Aengus being the person he is, thinks this girl is the prettiest thing he's ever seen. After this, he goes on a "hunt" to find this girl, and he is determined because of how amazing this girl
