What does the word family mean? According to the dictionary, the word means, "A fundamental social unit consisting of parents, their children considered as a group whether dwelling together or not.". My meaning of family is the people who love you, support you, give guidance, and share lifelong memories. Being blood-related doesn 't have to be a primary ingredient to make you family. "It 's the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." -Unknown.

My immediate family, my mother, stepdad, brother, and my three little boys. Not to mention our furry, friendly, pet Kipper he 's the family dog. At no time is there a dull moment in our house, with sounds of the kids running around, the dog barking, adult conversations, and sounds in the kitchen.
