Sociological reasoning pre-dates the foundation of the discipline. Social analysis has origins in the common stock of Western knowledge and philosophy. It has been carried out from as far back as the time of ancient Greek philosopher Plato. The origin of the survey, i.e., the collection of information from a sample of individuals, can be traced back to at least the Domesday Book in1086, while ancient philosophers such as Confucius wrote of the importance of social roles. There is also evidence of sociology in medical Arab writings, French philosophy teachings from the 19th century, and at the turn of the 20th century. My dream job is to become a U.S. Marshal. The U.S. Marshals Service is the nation’s oldest and most versatile federal law enforcement agency. EBSCOhost’s article, Federal detention: The United States Marshals Service's management of a challenging program, calls the U.S. Marshal Services “the civilian enforcement power of the Federal Government and its courts” since 1789 (Feagan par. 1). The Marshals Service occupies a uniquely central position in the federal justice system. It is the enforcement arm of the federal courts, involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative. I would be helping create new identities and lives for people in the Witness Protection Program, stop the drug flow into our country, and put an end to sex
