What Does Soccer Mean To Me

Decent Essays
My mother always say, “Everything will work itself out.”. It reminds me that no matter how bad things may get, it will always get better. I go through life slowly, taking everything in and trying new things. Through the years I have been figuring out who I am. The three most important symbols on my mandala are soccer ball, heart, and a cross. The first symbol, soccer ball, stands for soccer, my favorite sport. Soccer takes me to a whole new world. Over the years I have tried many different sports, but I have found that soccer fits me best. In soccer there is constant action and movement to keep you involved. Soccer is also a physical game and I like pushing people around. Whenever I go to practice or a game, it takes my mind off of everything …show more content…
The heart stands for family and love. Family definitely comes first for me, I do almost everything with my family. I can always count on my family, they support me in everything that I do. Whenever I am down and do not know what to do, they are always right there to help me through it. I always have fun with my sisters, whether it is going exploring in our creek or creating new games to play. My family has shaped so much of who I am and what I do. I will love my family forever and always, no matter how many fights we get into. The last symbol is a cross for my Catholic faith. Growing up I would always go to Sunday school. I would learn all about Jesus and what he did for us. My faith fascinates me, learning how much that Jesus and his disciples had to go through. My faith has helped shape me into who I am today. When I go to church I feel at peace, it is relaxing and peaceful. Through the CYO, Christian youth group, I make many new friends and become more involved in the church and the parish family. All of these symbols show who I am and what I have gone through in life. These symbols remind me to keep going and never regret anything. Life can bring me down, but when I think of soccer, family, and my faith, it reminds me that everything will be fine. A lot of great stuff has already happened in my life, but there is much more for me to
